Can a Breast reduction surgery be combined with multiple fibroadenoma removal?

I'm 23 years old with a history of fibroadenomas since I've been 19. (I had my first one removed when I was 19, then three more removed last year--one of which was found to be a phyllodes. I currently have 17 fibroadenomas in my breasts, slowly growing for no reason). I'm very skinny, but I have 32DDD breasts that suddenly started growing when I was 19. I want a breast reduction, but how would that affect my tumors? Could they all be removed at once? Would their presence affect the results?

You should speak with your breast surgeon that monitors the
fibroadenomas regarding a breast reduction.

Breast reductions may remove some of the lesions but unlikely
all of them.  At times, plastic surgeons
operate simultaneously with breast surgeons.  Pathologist usually exam the breast tissue removed with reductions.

A breast reduction may remove some of the tumors but it is difficult to say how many could be removed at the time of the reduction.  Many factors are involved in determining excision patterns.

The breast reduction will likely remove a substantial number of these masses. A preop mammogram should be obtained before surgery as a current baseline. A review would demonstrate the location of the existing masses and a plan. However, a concern would be the high potential for development of more such tutors going forward and the effect on the cosmetic side of the result.

hola!every case is different, for a better opinion i should see some pics and the sonogram. with this we can determine if all fibroadenomas can be removed.but a breast reduction can help reduce the tissue dysplasia (change).
