24 eMax crowns/veneers? I am 34 years old with yellow, chipped and worn teeth. (Photos)

The essentially is what is often called a "full mouth reconstruction" and is often a great choice.  The photos provided appear to show a case that bleaching and bonding would not be enough, so a FM rehab should be considered.

From the excellent photos provided, it does not look as if whitening and bonding would give you a nice result.  Emax crowns look to be the best option for you.  Be sure to use an experienced cosmetic dentist as this is not an easy case for a someone that does not do these cases on a daily basis.  Good luck. 

You need to first get your teeth in better position, and this would be done with Invisalign or wires and brackets. If you do crowns without first getting the teeth into better position, you will not have a good outcome, and you will be having a dentist grind away good healthy enamel that is not really necessary.  You should have any decay restored first. It appears that your upper front teeth have some decay.Yellow teeth really respond well to whitening in my practice, so I think you should try that before doing so many unnecessary eMax crowns.  Your teeth will not wear so bad if you get them in better position first.  Your crowns will wear and fracture easily if you do not address the mal-occclusion first.I think you could be very happy and not grind away good enamel if you go more conservative with orthodontic treatment, some esthetic bonding of the decay, whitening and just a few crowns to restore the teeth that have suffered wear from the mal-occlusion that has been present for years.This will cost much less, preserve tooth structure and still provide a very nice result. Hope this helps in making a decision.

Hi:Depending on how much the color of your teeth is bothering you determines the course of action.  If you only want to lighten the color of your teeth a little bit then combination of some veneers, bonding and some crowns on your back teeth will work.  However, if you want to change the color of your teeth dramatically then 24 veneers and crowns will make sense.Best,Dr. Maddahi
