I had my rhinoplasty exactly 4 weeks ago and unhappy with the results. My bridge was narrowed and tip work was done, possibly a columella strut graft was used. My tip is still very upturned and very noticeable in my profile. I had a very piggy and upturned nose after cast removal but doctor said it would drop. Now my columella is also very thick and looks like it is attached to my tip and keeping it pushed up. Is this due to swelling or will I need revision? Would this revision be fairly simple?

Thanks for the question. You should be able to go on vacation by 1-2 weeks after your surgery. But this is valid only with assuming postoperative recovery is uneventful. If any unexpected incident happens in your treatment process, this time can be extended or shortened. I wish you all the best.
You are doing all that you can for now, and the graft is still in the maturation process 5 months later. You may want to talk to your surgeon about procedures such as dermabrasion and laser resurfacing a few months down the road to further refine the result and get better camouflage of the graft.
