Is It Normal That my Eye is Droopy w/ Lots of Red Scarring on my Eyeball 3 Months After Retinal Detachment Surgery?

September 12, 2013
Asked By:eliza bethany in Avon Park, Florida

My condition was described as chronic (had this for more than one year) & my symptoms were constant flashing lights & a black curtain over the top half of my eyesight. I still have these symptoms but my surgeon told me this will take months to go away. My eye is still half droopy, is this normal & will it ever go back to normal? I have red veins & scarring on the white part of my eyeball from surgery. Will this eventually go away? If so, when ? Thank you
