It is never a good idea to rub your eyes. Hands tend to be dirty and it can be easy to transmit the germs from your hand to your eyes. Also mechanically, parts of the eye can become swollen when agressively rubbed. On the other hand, after the first few weeks, the LASIK flap should be well healed and unlikely to move with gentle rubbing. Instead of rubbing, I suggest lubricating tear drops or cold compresses.
It is ok to gently rub the eyes one month post lasik. By this time the flap should be healed down. You should be able to tell if your flap is dislodged or wrinkled by blurry vision. If unsure, please make a follow up appointment with your ophthalmologist.
