If you have a very overfilled chin (hangs down, witch chin) for over 2 years and then treat it with hyaluronidase, will it go back to normal or is it possible that the stretched skin hangs down? I’m in my 20’s

As long as you dissolve the filler in a proper way, your chin should go back to the pre-treatment appearance. Hyaluronidase must be administered in small portions rather than in one large one. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.

Hi Januaala,If the skin has been stretched out with excess filler, then dissolving the filler with hyaluronidase could lead to some sagging skin. Unfortunately, the only way to know is to have the filler dissolved and see how much skin retraction you get. Usually you will get some degree of skin retraction do the elasticity of the skin. Unfortunately, there’s no way to know how much you’ll actually get. If you don’t get the skin retraction that you are hoping to obtain you could consider a small chin implant placed via a skin crease underneath the chin.
