Male, 31, South Asian Was under the impression that I was suffering from male androgenetic alopecia and went for a hair transplant, they literally sent me home saying my donor area is thinning as well so it is not male androgenetic alopecia. They could not tell me what it is though. I'm hoping to get some insight here. Have been using minoxidil and finasteride in different forms and now I am wondering if that was even necessary in the first place

Hello, and thank you for your question. From the pictures you provided your hairline looks fine to me. I can see all kinds of new baby hairs growing in. I think you are fine. If you are really stressing over it, go get a second opinion. Best of luck to you.

Hello and thank you for your question. I understand your concern and I think its best you start with a visit to your primary physician. He/she can start with bloodwork tests and you can take it from there. Depending on the results, the next visit would be to a dermatologist. Best of luck to you...
Hello, and thank you for your question. Surgery is an option for those who want improvement in the appearance of the scalp. The goal is to remove excess skin and smooth out the scalp. I suggest a reputable plastic surgeon to perform such a procedure. Best of luck to you.
