For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi @Ray098! Tear trough fillers can help with the hollowness. I recommend speaking to your practitioner to see if you are a good candidate. Another non-surgical option is PRP injections in the tear trough area. Generally, two vials of blood will be collected from the patient and placed into a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins and separates the platelets from the rest of the blood components. The plasma contains the valuable collagen and growth factors from the rest of the blood's components. The plasma is then drawn up into a syringe and injected in the tear trough area.
Thank you for your question and photo. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be administered to improve the sunken appearance you’re referring to by adding volume to the hollowed areas around the eyes. Keep in mind that while filler treatments are not surgery, they do require a great deal of skill and precision to achieve the best possible results. In my office, we use a micro-cannula to inject this area, which minimizes bruising and swelling and ensures the smoothest outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector. They will be able to discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals with you to determine the best treatment option.
Ptosis is a condition where the upper eyelids can be congenitally droopy leading to a hollowed upper lid appearance. Consider consulting with an oculoplastic surgeon for consideration of "ptosis repair." Upper lid fillers may not lead to a favorable result. Thanks! Dr Joseph
In all honesty, there is nothing wrong with your eyes, as it is simply a genetic variation in your appearance. However, if this bothers you a great deal, you can have a small amount of your own fat placed into the eyelid area to create the look that you desire. Make sure you find a plastic surgeon who specializes in fat grafting techniques. With this method, the result should be natural and permanent. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry...
Many of my colleagues have reported concerns about deep scarring and decreased vascularity during facelift in patients who have had multiple nonsurgical procedures - this is more likely with Sculptra, and treatments like RF microneedling, targeted ultrasound etc than with remote HA filler. I...
"I suggest reaching out to an expert for a formal consultation. I like to recommend my patients start a combination of facial rejuvenation treatments. 1) Skincare with products and microneedling/PRP 2) PDT Light Therapy a few times per month with growth factors 3) Laser treatments like Clear +...
