I am 29, 5'3" and 125 pounds. I look quite a bit older because of these "mounds around my mouth". I even have slight wrinkle starting to appear on both sides of the mound. They are driving my insane, and I am wondering if i should have filler injected to soften the mound, or if they need to be operated on to get the best results. It litterally feels like I need a midface lift.

Answer: Consider your options for smoothing your facial skin Thank you for submitting your question and photos. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers may be a good option to smooth the areas you’re referring to by adding a subtle amount of volume. You may also be interested in RF microneedling to tighten and contour the skin by increasing collagen production and improving elasticity. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector. They will be able to review your concerns and determine the best approach to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

Answer: Mid-Cheek Volume Deficit Typically Responsibe For Peri-Oral Aesthetic Issues There appears to be volume deficit in the left cheek. If you pull on your left cheek upwards and towards the direction of the left upper ear you will likely find that the displeasing mound on the side of your mouth will diminish significantly. If this is so, then the use of an appropriate robust HA filler injected properly within the left cheek will not only improve the overall appearance of the cheek and create greater symmetry with the right cheek, but will significantly diminish the unwanted mound. in experienced hands, treatment should take no more than about five minutes with immediate results that typically elicit a "Wow!" reaction. You would be wise to consult an experienced board certified cosmetic dermatologist injector and best of luck.

Answer: What filler would help around the mouth? What you’re referring to does not make you look older, but it does create a slightly off of an appearance. This can be corrected with fillers, but in order to correct it completely, you’ll need quite a bit of those fillers, and that would be expensive. I would recommend using your own fat, and it can easily correct this condition once and for all. I hope you find a plastic surgeon who is experienced I fat grafting procedures. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
