I just had Sciton profractional laser done 2 weeks ago and I realize I like the results from fraxel dual laser much better. Is it safe to get fraxel dual afterwards? And when is it safe to do so. I did Mlp 10 micron depth, followed by profractional 150 micron depth. My acne scars and hyper pigmentation is still there. And the Sciton laser added more rolling scars.

Answer: It all depends on your skin and how long it takes to heal.
Generally the worst days after Fraxel are days 1-2. If you are getting worse after 4 days, it might be a sign that something else is going on. I would call your doctor and have him/her see you to make sure there are no complications.

Thank you for your question! There are several Fraxel lasers available. The Clear and Brilliant laser has the shortest downtime and it is possible that your skin heals that quickly. If the Dual was used, it usually takes 5-7 days to peel and for the swelling to go down. The results take 6-12 ...
