Best time for Fraxel after botched dermatology biopsy?

I have an indented scar from what I thought was supposed to be a superficial biopsy from the dermatology PA. It has been 7 weeks. When would be the best time to use the Fraxel laser to help resurface the indentation?

One fraxel will not make a major impact. This type of laser requires a series of treatments.  I suggest you speak to your physician about the long term treatment plan customized for you.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thanks for your query. The amount of crusting depends upon the strength at which the fraxel is performed. It is absolutely okay to not have much scab. You can apply hyalugel on the scabs which can lead it to heal faster. Just apply moisturizer and proper sun block and let it heal for a while. If...
