Is it common for eyes to tear up when eating after Botox for synkinesis?

I developed Bell’s palsy in march and went on to develop synkinesis. I got treated with Botox around my eye to stop it from closing when smiling/chewing etc. It worked well for this and gave me some confidence back which had been really impacted by the Bell’s palsy. The only issue I had was that any time I ate my eye would water and tears would stream down my face, is this common?
