Blepharoplasty botched - scar too high. Will laser treatment help? (Photo)

Asked By:ajlnyc in New York, New York

I am 4 months post-op with a botched upper blepharoplasty. I realize the incision is too high. I also healed poorly and my incisions opened. I'm devastated by the results. Truly depressed and trying to hide. It's embarrassing. I don't think I have enough skin for a revision. But how can I live like this for the rest of my life with thick scars indented across my eyes? I'm only 41. The skin isn't smooth and makeup only highlights the deep indents. Will laser treatment help? C02? If there are any doctors in the New York area that can help me- Please- I'm desperate.

Answer: A light CO2 laser can help improve appearance of these scars. Apply Plato's Scar serum twice daily to help as well.
