I had a tummy tuck in January 2024. My belly button scar was thin and then I noticed the areas where my stitches were started to become bumps. Then my whole scar became thick/ rope like with a few weeks. I was told by surgeon to go to a derm for steroid injections. The injections worked but they worked too well and destroyed the good skin around my scar. I don’t know what to do any laser center says they can only help the redness not texture. So is it possible to help my scar with laser?
