I am 30 and i had undereye filler 8 months ago. After this procedure i had bumps on my malar region which formed gradually and moved towards my cheeks. Is this filler migration or aging process? And what are the treatment options? Thank you for reading.
Answer: Bumps on malar region Bumps or lumps after an undereye filler injection can be caused by a variety of factors, including filler migration, product overcorrection, or the natural aging process. If the bumps have moved from the undereye area to the cheeks, it's possible that the filler has migrated. If you are concerned about the bumps, it's important to consult with a qualified and experienced cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon. During a consultation, the doctor will examine the affected area, discuss your symptoms and medical history, and recommend the best course of action based on your individual needs. Treatment options for bumps or lumps after filler injection may include massaging the area to encourage even distribution of the filler, dissolving the filler with hyaluronidase injections, or waiting for the filler to naturally dissipate over time. It's important to be patient and allow sufficient time for the bumps to resolve, as it can take several months for the filler to fully settle. It's also important to communicate openly and honestly with your doctor about your concerns and expectations, and to ask any questions you may have about the procedure and what to expect in terms of results and recovery.

Answer: HA fillers can be dissolved until you reach desired results Filler migration, swelling, and granulomas can cause significant discomfort and cosmetic ramifications. Our office specializes in the use of enzymes and filler reversal techniques without hyaluronidase to help improve the results of botched cosmetic fillers, whether caused by Juvederm, Restylane, or foreign fillers. Our plastic surgery institute provides expertise in filler removal. We begin by examining the facial fillers and assessing the likelihood of fluctuance or liquid volumization. If appropriate, we use Hylenex, or other filler reversal agents to reduce swelling and filler migration. Hylenex can be targeted into the areas of concern using multiple layered injection techniques. If the filler does not completely resolve, then additional concentrations may be employed. The technique has the potential to reduce the filler and may slightly impact normal hyaluronic acid. Treatments are repeated and results can improve immediately and with time. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Bumps after using fillers It doesn’t really matter at this point in time what caused the bumps on your face. Your cheeks are flat, and that is generally a hereditary condition acquired from the fathers side of the family. You need to restore volume to your cheeks, as well as the lower eyelid area, and I would recommend using only your own fat. A properly performed fat grafting will make your face look natural and more youthful with results being practically permanent. Make sure to go to a Plastic surgeon with a great deal of experience in fat grafting techniques. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
