Ever since I was a baby my hairline was always a bit higher at the corners and I also have a scar close to my right corner however my hair is still thick, voluminous, and easy to work with. Also, my father dealt with baldness in his 30s. Is my hairline something I should be worried about?
Answer: Understanding Hair loss and hair loss treatment options: hair transplant, prp and progesterone I suggest seeing a hair loss expert now to evaluate and go over your condition and provide you information about your best treatment options. There are great non-invasive options like prp/progesterone and/or hair transplantation. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Maturation vs balding You may want to see a specialist to review this in great detail. While it’s possible the could be a form of hairline maturation, I’d favour some early androgenetic component here. A specialist can confirm when they examine things up close. Continue to take photos every 6 months or as this will be helpful to follow changes.

Answer: Hair is still thick, voluminous Receding hairline is not a hair loss because of ongoing process of androgenetic alopecia but a simple juvenile type maturing of frontal hair line. That is seen almost every young boys almost between 16-21 that have a very rounded hairline without recession in the corners. Recession in the corners is a sign of mature pattern male frontal hair line.

Answer: Hairline recession It appears that you have a stable pattern of recession, which is normal. There are very few people that maintain their original hairline (which is lowest at the age of nine or ten) throughout one's life. Look at people like Paul Ryan or Bill Clinton who have low hairlines and compare pictures of them from ten years ago - you will see obvious natural recession. This is not male patterned hair loss, simply natural recession. The best thing would be to determine if there is any volume loss related to miniaturization behind your hairline, which could signal male patterned hair loss. If no miniaturization, then this is natural recession. Next step - get evaluated by a hair restoration physician who can determine what process is in play.
