I waxed my eyebrows while on Accutane, will the redness be permanently a scar? (photo)

Thank you for your question and for submitting your photo.  Generally speaking, Accutane can temporarily impair our skin's ability to heal from injuries (including surgical procedures, chemical peels, and laser treatments).  While some can tolerate the minor trauma from waxing on Accutane, I have seen some patients who are even sensitive to this.  For now, I would recommend stopping the Neosporin, as many patients are allergic to Neosporin and this can exacerbate the redness and irritation.  You may consider using an over-the-counter 1% hydrocotisone ointment to help relieve some of the inflammation you are experiencing, and protecting the area from the sun as much as possible to prevent skin discoloration and scarring.  I would also recommend following up with your dermatologist to discuss additional treatments to help your skin heal faster.  Best of luck!
