I have a very crooked tip. I’ve read about how septoplasty is performed but since I have a crooked tip, what has to be done differently? Also, the side of my nose that isn’t crooked is pinched. Could I get that fixed while also straightening my nose?
Answer: Tipplasty after septoplasty To alter the tip requires structure. If the septum has already been harvested, the rib can be used to provide structure to the tip and help stabilize it against the forces of healing that may have led to a crooked tip. Hope this info helps. Best, Dr. Ali

Answer: Twisted nose Your photograph shows deviation and asymmetry of your nose. You need to discuss surgery that would break your bones to realign them and surgery to reposition and straighten your septum. This is often complex, difficult surgery. Your tip itself looks symmetric. It should come into line if the bones and septum are addressed.
