Even though the skin has peeled why is that also a lot of hyperpigmentation after the skin peeled

I believe you are experiencing normal healing. I would apply moisturizers. Hyperpigmentation is probably not what you are having because that is a phenomenon which usually occurs at 3 weeks for any type of procedure (if it occurs). I would discuss your question with your doctor. Good skin care including retin A and growth factors will maximize your results. I don't know your skin type but maybe a hydroquinone is needed.

If you have symptoms such as itch etc.. it maybe due to 1. Occlusion from your ointment- stop this at day 7/2. Infection eg. candida, swabs needed3. Irritant dermatitis, diagnosed with history4. Allergic contact dermatitis diagnosed with ROAT or patch testing. If you could go back to your dermatologist, or plastics, they can examine you and come up with a solution ( Condys, Anti histamines, cold packs, steroid ointments etc...) Dr Lim
