How many grafts would it be to connect my beard/mustache/goatee? (photos)

Question

Not looking to add to my already existing beard. I Just want to have a connection between the other areas of hair I have. I am satisfied with the length I can grow with the beard I have now, however there are areas that have never grown in. Attached are my concerns as well as a picture with my beard grown out as much as I could with areas still devoid. M/25.

According to the photos, 1200 grafts should be implanted. I recommend getting your personal doctor's opinion as well.

The two areas you point out can be nicely filled in with a procedure of 300 to 400 grafts per side, depending on the thickness of your donor areas and the exact size of the area to be restored.

In order to build the goatee so that the beard connects with the moustache you would want an equal density of hair throughout. With the existing density of your beard this would take aprox 700 grafts to make thick connectors.

You're right when they say you're missing the points where the beard meets.Apparently you don't need much of a graft so you can have a successful operation with a maximum of 1000 grafts.

The number of grafts depends upon the thickness of the hair on the scalp, thicker hair requires less (possibly 300-400 per side), fine hair more (possibly 500-600 per side). Using beard hair from under you chin may be another alternative
