Will my upturned nose after rhinoplasty stay up? (Photo)

I know many people have asked this question, but I'm still so nervous I have to ask again. I got rhinoplasty two days ago, and yes, I am swollen everywhere. I know it takes weeks - maybe months - to see the final result. BUT, that being said, my nose is so upturned and piggish tight now I'm worried it won't go down normally. Is this amount of "upturned-ness" normal at this point?

Don't worry.  Your tip will come down.  It's very soon after surgery and the swelling at the base of the nose and the tape are keeping it up.  It's very normal to have these concerns this soon after surgery.  Keep the faith.  All the best.

Thank you for your question.  Yes, your nose looks within the range of normal for being 2 days post-op.  The tape under the tip of your nose is acting like a sling and pulling it upward.  You also have significant swelling. Your tip will settle lower than it currently is.  The swelling at the base of the nose/top of the lip causes the lip to appear longer than it really is and will return back to its normal appearance once the swelling goes down.  Relax and recover!  All the best.

At such an early time frame after surgery, it is way way way too soon to tell how it will turn out in the long run. Be patient.
