Blistering and pigmentation issues can develop if settings are too high during the first sessions. As long as the reaction of "icing" occurs, treatments will be beneficial. It is important to start with lower fluence on the first treatment to assure and safe and effective treatment.  If too much fluence is used it may blister, scab and scar.  If too little fluence is used, the treatment may not be effective, but it will be safer.
