Want natural round breasts: do I need a breast lift or no? (photos)

Hello, inserting breast implants does not position the nipples higher on the chest but they can increase overall breast size and upper fullness. If you want more fullness and are satisfied with the current position of your nipples, implants alone may be an option. However, the surgeon who did a proper in-person examination will be the best source of advice regarding implant sizing, pocket position and the pros/cons of breast lift surgery. If you want natural breasts then you do not need implants but fat transfers would be an option. Your breasts are slightly low on the chest wall. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

It is difficult to give you good answer without in person evaluation. My impression is that you can achieve nice result, within desired pics look, with implants in the range of 400 ml.; it will give you approximately 2-2.5 cups sizes up. I would prefer high profile implants. Good luck.

Hello. The nipples are above your breast fold (IMF) so it is unlikely that a breast lift is required. I prefer submuscular placement of implants because the aesthetic is more natural and they have a better aethetic over time. The size of the implant is dependent on your overall size, breast width, etc. 400 may be a good size. But the Mod Plus has a 13.1 cm diameter, which will be too wide for your existing breast size. I would look at higher profile implants in a narrow base diameter. Make sure you "test drive" different implant sizes. All the best. Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a great candidate for breast augmentation using a dual plane approach. You will not require a lift. You will be able to achieve your wish pic look. The exact size and characteristics of the implants should be determined together with your plastic surgeon so that the right implant that matches your body's anatomy is selected. I hope this helps.

Your nipples are well above your breast fold so you definitely do not need a lift. Submuscular placement of implants gives a more natural less fake look, but also has less risk of complications. The size you are looking at sound about right to me. Good luck.

determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

You are an excellent candidate for submuscular augmentation with silicone gel implants- we would determine the size and profile when I measure your chest, we review photos together, and you have an opportunity to try on the implant sizers in the office- but I think 400cc sounds awesome, and it would likely be either a Mod Plus or High Profile depending on your measurements.

You don't need a lift and appear to desire more than what is "natural" for your body size. I would recommend going under the muscle to avoid the round look, seeing the implant edge and better upper breast fullness.
