Hello! Context: B cup breasts, where the left is slightly bigger. I would like to keep the natural slope and droop of my breasts. That is, I do not want the upper portion of my breasts to be rounded. Questions: Can this be achieved with a low-profile silicone implant? I fear the possibility of rotation for shaped implants, is this my only option to achieve this look? Goal: 1/2 to 1 cup larger, & keep breast shape as is.

Answer: Choosing the right size and profile breast implants for you I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Answer: Submuscular augmentation You are correct in my opinion to avoid textured implants to prevent spin and for several other reasons. A submuscular implant covers the upper two thirds of the implant with muscle which helps maintain the natural slope and avoid the fake look. Also choosing moderate size implants will help to not look fake. That should be easy since you only want to go up 1/2 to 1 cup size. If your breasts are uneven size wise you can even try on different size sizers to see if it would help even you out by having a slightly larger implant in the small size. Discuss all this with your surgeon. Good luck.
