Can my hip dips be filled out? What would be the best option for my body? (Photo)

The filling in of hip dips varies depending on the anatomy of one patient versus the other. “Primary hip dips” occurs when there is a lack of fullness or fat in the area just beyond the outer edges of gluteus muscles.  This is best and only permanently treated with soft silicone rubber cosmetic hip implants. “Secondary hip dips” occurs when there is a concavity (like a valley) on the outer side of the buttock that is a result of a mound of  love handle fat above and saddlebag fat below. Your case it appears to be more Secondary hip dips. To treat this situation. Liposuction of the love handles above and sandlenags below will remedy 90+% of the problem. If you want more of an exaggerated hour-glass figure, the only way to provide permanent hip augmentation is with cosmetic hip implants. Although fat transfer  is an option, most of the time it melts away leaving an unsatisfactory result. Glad to help. 

It would be necessary to have an in person consultation to answer this question.  However, I think the best option is probably fat transfer, and you may have enough harvestable fat to make this a worthwhile procedure.  It is possible that you may need 2 sessions several months apart to achieve adequate correction. Cost varies but you can expect to spend around $5-7K for this procedure.

Based on your photos you are a good candidate for liposuction and BBL. The fat transfer to your buttocks and hips, often called Brazilian butt lift has become extremely popular because it allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You improve your waist, hips and of course your buttock.
I recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified  plastic surgeon to talk about your goals.

Hello, and thank you for your question.  Many patient come in to my office with similar concerns.  I have found great success using fat grafting to the area coupled with liposuction for added contouring to adjacent areas to give a satisfactory result.  It is paramount post surgery to wear post surgical garments to ensure grafted fat survives long term, thereby keeping your immediate post surgical results.
