Blood vessels on the sides of the nose or under the nose are very common. These types of vessels are called telangiectasias. There are a number of lasers that can be used to treat these. I prefer to start with an infrared laser such as the Varilite laser using a 940 nm wavelength and small spot size. I trace out the vessels and they typically disappear in front of my eyes as I am treating them. It's very gratifying to see the vessels disappear. They do tend to try to come back to some degree over time after treatment, but can be treated again if needed.
