If you have an elevated temperature on the morning of surgery then it will most likely be postponed for your safety. Hopefully you will be fully recovered prior to the procedure.  There is nothing worse than vomiting after surgery.

Full disclosure is always the best policy. If you do not tell the surgeon everything then it becomes hard for the surgeon to make the right choices for you. So let the surgeon know, and likely it will not affect your procedure but let your surgeon make that decision with you.
