I so the color and the shape difference in the same day that I got my implant put in, and the doctor assure me there is no other way and that the color is perfect and the shape is the best one they could do ... I don't have a picture before the implant but I never had a gap in between my front teeth, and now it does bother me when I talk... But still the color bothers me the most,... It's been a long ride and expensive and it's nothing that I was told ill get "perfect tooth" that will blend in

Answer: Crowns Can and Should match Surrounding Teeth Hi there! I understand your concern re: the color and shape. And you need to get back to your dentist ASAP and have him/her fix it. Do not let yourself be "persuaded" to accept something your eye knows is not a match. And you need to be aware that one single solitary front tooth is the hardest dental procedure we do. Getting that lone tooth to match the surrounding teeth in a way the eye cannot detect will take multiple visits and a commitment on both sides (dentist and you) to get it right. So keep hanging in there, do not stop in your determination to get this right. And be prepared for pushback. Often offices do not like to redo things...it costs money and takes time. By the way, going back to your dentist and asking for it to be redone should not cost you much. It's only been two months. You are not satisfied. Stick in there with that office. And good luck!

Answer: Implant Tooth I would suggest you return to the dentist who did the work and discuss your concerns. Dental implant teeth can be matched well to surrounding teeth. If this is not the case you can discuss this with the dentist. If that does not work a second opinion may be in order but I am sure your dentist will be open to your concerns. Good luck!
