My Eyes Can't Open Fully After Double Eyelid Surgery? (photo)

Question

11 days post-op. My eyes can't open fully or look upwards. It feels like something is stopping my eyes from looking upwards and sideways. Is it normal? How much will the crease reduce in its size? The area above my lash line feels numb and my eyelid feels very hard and tight. My eyes looks lifeless now as compared to before surgery. Is there anyway to heal it? My eyelid still feels thick and puffy now. Should a revision be done?

good morning, thank you for the inquiry

	based on these photographs you had a very high crease created for you. This may have been done based on your requests and specific goals.what that means is you have an arch of scar tissue and swelling literarily over-the-top of your eyeball and high atop of your eyelid. It will probably be another one to three weeks before you can open your eyes more effectively and it will continue to improve with time. For the type of procedure that it appears you had this type of swelling for two weeks is not unusual. I would have resurgent and keep a very close eye on it but I would not necessarily recommend revision at this time.  this postoperative period that you are in can be very stressful and you will need to be patient. Rely on your surgeon to keep a close eye on you but don't hesitate to get a second opinion sooner than later.
