Did my first laser hair removal treatment and it's the 7th week and some hairs won't grow back when do I go to my next session?

Hi there,Laser hair removal treatments are typically scheduled once every 6 to 8 weeks, because of the hair growth cycle.  It takes a minimum of 6 treatments to become permanently hair free. With that being said, it is crucial to continue your laser hair removal package in the appropriate time frame. It is great that you are not seeing great reduction at 7 weeks and you will see less and less hair growth after each subsequent treatment. It takes a minimum of 6-8 treatments to see any permanent change in hair growth. It is important to stay with your treatment plan through the entire course and evenly spaced between hair growth cycles. Good luck!

The usual routine for laser hair removal is every 6 weeks. If you are noticing a little regrowth it is time for another session.Good luck.

Thanks for you question.  It sounds like you received an excellent first treatment.  LHR only works on hair that is actively growing.  If you have some growth in the area at 7 weeks, it's probably time to treat again.  Best of luck.

In my practice, we schedule laser sessions of the under arms 1 month apart. It seems like you have had an excellent result from the first treatment.
