Did my first laser hair removal treatment and it's the 7th week and some hairs won't grow back when do I go to my next session?

i got laser hair removal done on my armpits 7 weeks ago. almost 40% of the hair hasn't grown back. when do i go to my next session ? is it fine if i get my second session done even if some hairs aren't grown out yet ?

Hi there,Laser hair removal treatments are typically scheduled once every 6 to 8 weeks, because of the hair growth cycle.  It takes a minimum of 6 treatments to become permanently hair free. With that being said, it is crucial to continue your laser hair removal package in the appropriate time frame. It is great that you are not seeing great reduction at 7 weeks and you will see less and less hair growth after each subsequent treatment. You should still continue your treatment protocol (which typically is 6 treatments) as planned. It does sound like you're on your way to a great result!Best,Dr. Paul Flashner

It takes a minimum of 6-8 treatments to see any permanent change in hair growth. It is important to stay with your treatment plan through the entire course and evenly spaced between hair growth cycles. Good luck!
