Thank you for your question.  This "laser" sounds like an inexpensive, underpowered import from China that hasn't gone through FDA Approval.  It sounds like you would probably need to get several inefficient treatments to get good results.  We utilize a US-made Vectus diode laser to safely and effectively treat all skin types.  With our laser, we can stop most patient's hair growth in 5-7 treatments.  We recommend finding an experienced and reputable provider in your area with updated equipment.  Calibration and power of the laser is important for a safe, comfortable and effective treatment.  Find out if their laser is under a maintenance contract.  If their laser isn’t calibrated on a regular basis or is underpowered, your treatment may be painful or inefficient.
