Laser hair removal stopped working after 4 sessions, what should I do?

I have had 4 laser hair removal sessions (laser, not IPL) on bikini, intimate area & underarms. After first 3, I was hair free for some weeks (1 month between sessions). I had a 6 week gap after the 3rd one& the hair came back. The nurse increased the intensity on the fourth session, which was v. painful. But no result: the next days I had the same kind of regrowth I used to get before starting the treatment .I have dark hair & pale olive skin.

Hello, Laser Hair removal has its downfalls when it comes to Hair removal.  I have always treated from the neck down every 6 weeks.  It also can vary with hormone levels.  If at all your skin color has changed throughout the treatment the intensity will be decreased.  It is always a good idea to go back to where you originally started and follow up with them.

It takes a minimum of 6-8 treatments to see any change in hair growth. It is important to stay with your treatment plan through the entire course and evenly spaced between hair growth cycles. Good luck!
