Laser hair reduction is definitely a series of treatments in order to rid any area of the body of unwanted hair. Usually 6-8 treatments done 4 weeks apart. There is only a small percentage of the total hair follicles in the "growth cycle" at any one time, therefore 1 treatment will not be very effective. The time that it would take to perform the treatment can vary, depending on how the patient can tolerate the heat involved in hair destruction. Laser hair reduction is hot, especially in this area. Normally, it would take about 10-15 minutes, but if the technician has to go slower to allow the patient to tolerate the treatment, it can sometimes be a bit longer. Good Luck!
