Is there any specific age-barrier for Q-Switched laser treatment?

I am 17 years old and my dermatologist suggested that getting a Q-switched laser treatment would be best. However, my question is that do i have to wait until i turn 18 years old to get it done, or can i do it now? PLEASE REPLY ASAP.

There is no problem using Q-switched lasers in a younger patient.  The question is whether this is the right treatment for your skin and whether your parents agree with this treatment.  I would recommend exploring those questions before deciding to move forward.

Bottom line- you need to check your State regs. for laser. QSL is frequently done on babies with pigmented skin birth marks, and certain in patients much much younger than you. It is safe.
