An extra 1 mg Finasteride taken once will not have any appreciable impact. A different question is whether you should take Finasteride at all. It does have severe sexual side effects in a few percent of patients but taking even that small risk may be a bad bet. This would not be my first choice in a pharmacological approach. I would prefer Minoxidil, LLLT and PRP as alternatives.
