Breast lift w/ implants over 6mo ago to address -lifting breast -increasing volume -reducing nipple size -correct asymmetry -improve fullness at top of breast where chest wall can be felt 36 B/C before surgery. 34D before children. Lollipop technique w/ 390cc implants communicated but changed to Benelli during surgery. Breasts still sagging. White incision lines w/i areola. Now told lift + reshaping is not possible w/ implant size, asymmetry and areola outside of white scar not fixable.
Answer: Substandard result Your result and your story of surgeon changing to Benelli during surgery does not sound like a American Board of Plastic Surgery certified surgeon, much less a breast surgery expert. You needed a full, anchor scar pattern mastopexy with some tissue reduction along with the implants. You should disconnect from your surgeon and spend more time searching out an experienced revision breast surgeon expert.

Answer: Lift Based on the photos you were never a candidate for the Benelli lift. In order to improve your results a revision including a standard lift would need to be considered. Visit with a few board certified plastic surgeons near you for professional opinions.

Answer: Breasts You would have done best with first a lift, and then add implants. With implants, you need to go down in size or you will just stretch again and sag. Going smaller, the lift can be repeated and the areolar scarring and size can be addressed. You will need at least the lift with the vertical component and maybe the anchor. Measurements are needed to be certain. If you want to stay lifted, you need to be smaller.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear AZ212, Breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras. If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: This is fixable Thank you for the photos, I don’t think the Benelli is the right option. A lollipop (circumferential) lift can actually lift things to where they need to go, and it places the tension on the bottom of the breast, not the areola. I would convert this to a lollipop lift next month

Answer: Breast Lift with Large Implants It is possible/probable that your concerns could be addressed by converting to a full anchor type mastopexy. There is a good chance your implant size would not have to be reduced, but a more definitive answer would require a physical examination. Revisit your concerns with your surgeon to discuss your options. You can also seek another opinion with a board-certified plastic surgeon.
