Hi Inked.  While it's not hopeless, your tattoo is very large and very colorful, which makes it a lot of work to remove.  Whether you use the Picosure or not, it will still be a good number of treatments.  We feel the Picosure sets unrealistic expectations for the number of treatments and even with this machine would still be suggesting 6-10 more treatments.  With our Medlite C6, it would probably be 8-12.  The results have as much to do with the person doing the treatment as they do with the technology.  

Your tattoo will respond dramatically better with the PIcoSure compared to your previous laser treatment. Green colors respond very quickly to the PicoSure but a bit more slowly when tattoos that have had many treatments.

I perform tattoo removal with the Picosure laser from Cynosure.  This is proving to be the most effective tattoo removal laser on the market.   You have a large tattoo with multiple colors which certainly makes it more challenging.  There may be certain colors that are more difficult to remove in your tattoo (such as red), but in those cases I utilize another laser at the end of treatment as needed (often not necessary).  The Picosure has definitely set the new benchmark for the technology of laser tattoo removal.  The practitioner also must meticulously treat every area to assure the best result.  good luck.

Every tattoo responds different.  I have upgraded to PicoSure in my practice and found that overall it works much quicker than other technologies I have used.  That being said some tattoos are still resistant.  Thus I would suggest you give it a trial of 2 treatments and see how it responds.  From the picture it is hard to say yet this is a complex and large tattoo and I would bet on 5-6 treatments or course everyone is different.   Good luck!
