in October I went to him. due to my issue, I was told by every dermatologist and surgeon that surgery was the only option and could possibly leave me disformed. I had pain and lumps on my face for years from the silicone 1000. Dr. Roy geronemus was able to remove the silicone on my face without surgery using the Ellacor machine. the pain and the lumps are now gone all because of him! he is the only doctor I found that was able to use this machine to remove parts of the silicone! I highly recommend him. i wouldn’t trust another doctor out there. RUN don’t WALK to use him!!!

Choosing Dr. Geronemus is one of the best decisions l've ever made. I am overjoyed with the exceptional care provided by this doctor and his wonderful staff. I had spoken/ made apts with over 10 dermatologists and plastic surgeons who all told me they either couldn’t help me or I needed surgery which I wasn’t willing to do as it could potentially make my issue worse.

I am already astounded by the remarkable difference I see after my laser treatment which I had several days ago. The pain I was experiencing prior has gone away after this laser. I also notice a major difference in the texture of my skin even though it is still healing.

Dr. Geronemus is a genius and knows skin well. I had silicone injected in my nose several years ago and I went to him in October for a treatment to remove some of it. He didn’t judge me and told me he could use Ellacor to potentially get some of it out. I had lumps from the silicone and a lot of pain.

He was available to remove some of the silicone from my nose and the pain and lumps are now gone! He is the only doctor i would trust with this! Don’t walk, run to his office!

I’ve had a visible blue vein under my left eye for years. After my last rhinoplasty the bruising under that eye seemed to never fully go away and it seemed the blue vein had gotten more visible and bigger. People would ask what happened to me as if I had a black eye and I am 4 months post op from my nose surgery. I researched extensively and found the best doctor in New York for laser treatment. I think it was a bit expensive than what you may find elsewhere but I’ve learned not to go for discount pricing when it comes to my face. The laser itself I barely felt. The worst part of the procedure was the eye shields they put ON my actual eyeballs. One eye is now bloodshot and irritated but it will go away. The best part? The vein is gone! Instantly. Excel V worked perfect. I may have to go back one more time as I see how I heal as it was a larger vein.

Allergic reaction tattoo removal PA gave 1st pico sure treatment. Went for a consultation with dr geronemus he told me that I should not use the pico sure any more. So he is going to treat me with the Co2 laser. I did a spot test with him, because he say because of the allergic reaction to see if everybody will go ok. I’m going to wait for a month then do the treatment with the Co2 laser.

I got one treatment of infini on Jan.18. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m really not happy with the results. I don’t know if it’s too early to tell but in my opinion it looks worse than before. It created holes in my cheeks that were never there and my cheeks look very wrinkly. By my nose the pores look very stretched out. I wish I had taken before pics but I didn’t. I just want to known if this is normal and will my skin ever go back to looking normal.

I hated looking in the mirror and seeing dark marks on my face, even makeup would not cover it...After two fraxels with Dr. Geronemus, my face looks amazing! I do not need makeup at all and the wrinkles are gone. I was 38 at the time of the procedure, I tanned a lot when I was young and I was pregnant with gestational diabetes which drastically changed my skin. Please do not try to save money, find a reputable doctor (Not a spa or a technician). Fraxel website provides a list of authorized practitioners and it also tells you what technology they use (you want most recent technology). Dr. Geronemus only uses the newest lasers, he is very patient and attentive to your concerns and he is the one the performs the procedure. It is also important to use the creams that the doctor recommends to speed up recovery. I spent close to $1,000 on consultations with different doctor prior to choosing Dr. Geronemus and I am very happy I did the research.

I have been a patient of dr. Geronemus since the 1990s I would not let anybody else come near me with a laser he is one of the finest, safest, most professional doctors I have encountered and I am in the healthcare field I highly recommend dr. Geronemus I live on Long Island and commute to Manhattan for treatment by Dr Geronomus. He has a caring heart and has done pro bono work for children. I had facial bumps of undetermined origins. Multiple diagnosis, at least 20 different dermatologists and even more treatments. I tried everything possible starting with medications (doxycycline, finacea, metronidazole cream, high doses of vitamin A), chemical peels, photodynamic therapy (Allumera); continuing with cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen applications), pixel laser, IPL; and ending with CO2 laser. All this over period of 15 years with no improvement. Dr Geronemus offered trial with Infini RF. I could see some improvement with first treatment! It gets better with every treatment. I could also mention that I don't have to wait in the office because they start preparing me for procedure within 5 minutes from my arrival. I still don't think it is as important as the result of treatment.

Recently had a fraxel laser treatment to rejuvenate my skin and get rid of some very fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure was not painful and I can already see the results. I am very happy with the treatment performed by Dr. Geronemus. The nursing staff was very helpful and talked me through the procedure. This made me feel less anxious when the procedure was being performed.

I got a tattoo covered up in 2011 with colorful flowers...major regret! After doing a lot of research I decided to have my first Picosure session with Dr. Geronemus who was great. Most of the color came out in the first session. It was $800 for one session and I knew that I needed 15 or more so could not continue to go to him, only because it was too costly. From there I went to Dr Krant who was also great. She used the Picosure laser and treated three out of my four tattoos. I went to her for two sessions and then found a few other places that had the Picosure laser and tried them out because they were more affordable. I did not notice much of a difference until after the 5th time and now it has been 11 treatments and 5 different dermatologists and it is finally getting there! Out of the 11 treatments I have had a q switch laser treatment twice, which made my arm blister terribly. I think the Q switch also caused me to lose pigment. I much prefer Picosure even though it is more pricey. I will go back to Dr. Geronemus after my next treatment because he is probably the best in the city and has multiple lasers so can potentially get out the last of the color and fix the pigment in my skin to make it look even again.
