What can help deep scars on cheeks? (photos)

Hi, I have these 3 scars on my cheeks and they've been there for 3-4 years. You can see them more when I smile and they look really deep. Do you think that subcision would help? Thank you!

I have been peforming subcisions for elevating and smoothing indented scars since 1995. It is a a minimally invasive technqiuehe that I have been performing since 1995. It has a several decades' long proven track record for safety and efficacy for treating all kinds of indented scars from multiple causes and in all skin types. So, the short answer to your question is yes, subcision, enhanced with filler, in the hands of experienced board certified cosmetic dermatologist is an appropriate treatment for this. Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

Subsicion alone tends to not give long-term success, because more scar tissue forms and the problem is re-created.
Conditions that are in part based on dynamic facial expression are more difficult to assess than those which are static.
I suggest having a few in person, consultations with plastic surgeons in your community.
