Hi There, thanks for the question. This is a very common question we get asked. For my patients here in Ottawa, We advise them to wait 2 days prior to exercise. The first risk is bleeding, which is usually not serious after co2 laser but can be aggravated by exercise. The second issue is redness with exercise. There is no evidence that exercise will increase the risk of a poor cosmetic result after a mole removal if done properly. Personally, I tell me patients it is ok to exercise, but I do recommend using a silicone based bandage after the mole treatment.
Depending on where the mole is located will determine whether you can work out or not.If the mole is on your face you would want to wait for a few days because after this type of procedure involving a laser there can be considerable swelling and exercise can cause more swelling.Therefore it's best to wait for a few days before returning to your regular exercise routine.
