I just had the stitches removed from wound on my face. How can i care for it to minimise the scar. Can i use steri strips on the wound with vaseline for two weeks then use a scar gel and how would i clean it. At the moment i havnt done anything just kept the dressing on until the dermatogist removed it today and put a plaster on.

Several weeks to heal then you can consider something called subcision and injection of a filler...and then there's surgical removal of the area either with a punch biopsy or a regular excision and sutures...even though you don't want it cut out...that may be the best option if the doctor...
