Size of needle and brand on device when doing micro needle?

Question

Is the size of the needle when doing microneedle important? Is that true that the use of a 0.5 mm results in the same effect as the 1mm and 1.5mm long term? What is the difference between skinpen and mesopen? Can I do microneedle if I have filler under the eyes?

The depth of the needle depends on the patient and area being treated. Normal depth for facial microneedling is 0.75 - 1.5 mm.  I always recommend microneedling with PRP for best results. I often combine these procedures with fillers, on the same day when treating under the eye. There are several medical devices available. The size of the needle depends on the patient and the area that is being microneedled. For facial microneedling the needle depth is usually .5 mm -1.5 mm. Microneedling is safe to do with your filler and will not effect it in any way. Hope this helps!
