Would Subcision Improve this Scar? (Photos)

Question

I had a v-beam treatment 1 month ago that left an indented scar next to my nose. Would Subcision help? I have been using growth factors daily along with with silicone scar gel stratamed.

An indented scar from V-beam treatment, especially in the delicate area next to the nose, may benefit from targeted intervention, but subcision alone might not be the most effective first step in this case. Since the scar is relatively new and likely superficial, I would recommend fractional CO2 laser resurfacing as a more precise and controlled approach. CO2 laser works by creating micro-injuries that stimulate collagen remodeling and skin regeneration, which can help lift the depression and smooth the surrounding texture over time. It's especially effective for shallow or early atrophic scars and can be tailored to minimize damage to surrounding skin. Your current use of growth factors and silicone gel is a good supportive regimen and should continue alongside any procedural treatments. I hope this helps and best of luck!

I have been performing subcisions for thirty years, and the short answer to your question is "yes," Subcision has a proven track record for safety and efficacy for for elevating and smoothing all kinds of skin indentations and depressed scars. 
I am really sorry that you have this problem, and I have been cautioning my regular followers for years about the risks, and adverse reactions from so many of the expensive light and energy-based gizmos out there that are backed so heavily by marketing hype and social media buzz, but little in the way of hard science. 
(Going forward, it would be wise to keep in mind that "broken blood vessels" (I.e, telangiectasias) on the sides of the nose (as well as on the cheeks and elsewhere), can be easily and relatively inexpensively treated by  low intensity electrodessication, a simple treatment approach that I have personally been using for this purpose for several decades with gratifying results.
