I am 57. I am happy with my eyes no have good cheekbones and naturally full lips. But I don't like the part of my face beneath my nose and lower cheeks. Am I pod candidate or. Mini face lift?

With significant neck sagging you would need a neck lift / facelift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). Hello, and thank you for your question. Based on these images, I believe you may benefit from a mini facelift and neck lift to address your nasolabial folds and sagging on the lower face and neck. A mini facelift is a surgical procedure that’s less aggressive than a traditional facelift and can address early signs of aging, such as slight jowl formation and mild to moderate skin laxity.

Those who have significant skin laxity that has led to crepey-looking skin in the neck will also benefit from neck lift surgery. A neck lift procedure can also address submental fat that has formed under the chin and horizontal banding that can develop when the underlying muscle loses some of its firmness.

To determine the best procedure(s) for your concerns, I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Your surgeon can properly evaluate your skin quality and facial profile, determine your eligibility for surgery, and ensure the best possible outcome.

Given the excess skin on your neck, I would recommend a lower face and neck lift. Any non-surgical treatment, such as PDO threads, would not provide you with optimal long-lasting results. Notably, the PDO threads would be able to lift the midface area to lessen the appearance of the nasolabial folds and saggy jowls but would not provide a noticeable or significant lift to the neck area. A lower face and neck lift would address the sagging around your neck and jowls and soften the appearance of your nasolabial folds. The best part is that you will be able to enjoy this refreshed look for many years to come as results typically last 8-10 years. Additionally, I believe that a facial fat transfer will also provide an overall refreshed look as it would restore volume to areas that are currently hollow within the face. Going forward, I would recommend you to complete multiple in-office consultations with a board-certified plastic surgeons to discuss your ideal outcome. Based on the photos, a lower face and neck lift would work better for you. A mini facelift can improve the jowling and jawline nicely, but it's not great for the neck. Doing the neck at the same time will give you a better result overall. Be sure to see a facial specialist for consultation

Based on the photographs and the neck and lower face descent that you are exhibiting at this point, I would recommend a facelift rather than a mini facelift as the mini-lift generally targets the jowls mainly and provides minor improvement in the neck.  If the neck isn't a significant concern for you, I think that you could consider a mini lift.  Good luck!!

There is nothing going to make the lower face/neck look fabulous now other than a great mini Lift under local.  It is so easy to undergo and you look so amazing in just 2 days .  You are wrapped up for 1-2 weeks though but there is almost no pain during or afterwards.  A little filler in the nasolabial areas would compliment the results nicely as well as a face/neck/chest resurfacing with Morpheus8 and a medium TCA peel.

You are definitely a good candidate for a facelift. Don't get bogged down with things like trying to figure out full vs mini facelift. You need the real thing. Go on some consults with plastic surgeons in your area. Some might try to sell you on fat grafting as well. I advise against it. It's just wasted money
