Using Mineral Oil stopped my Hairfall. Why?

Hi , I am really wondering on this. My hair started falling 5 months back, so I started taking care of my diet etc. and it worked to some extent. But someone suggested me to used Mineral Oil. It was miracle! I used Mineral oil on my scalp and while massaging there was zero hairfall. While if I use coconut Oil (which I always use), my hair fall during the massage.The hairfall happens mostly (90%) during the application of the Oil. Also, to check it I tries massaging with plain water...and hairfall happens. But as soon as I massage with Mineral Oil...no Hair fall. How is this possible? What does mineral oil do to the hair/scalp?

Mineral oil does not "stop" hair loss and it is not a treatment for hair loss.  If you believe it helped, it may be just coincidence.

It's normal to lose 50-100 hairs per day and may be concerning if someone does not lose some hair per day.

If it works, then keep to it. I have had many patients try it and it failed to work as it did for you
