Rough dark flaky patches 1 week after Mandelic peel is this normal? (photos)

Got a Mandelic peel a week and a bit ago , I started peeling about 2 days after the peel for couple days, the peeling started to stop then this happened I did use a toner about 2nights before it appeared could that have caused it , is it burns or still part of the healing process?
