This is an excellent question. I recommend shaving your face prior to a microneedling treatment for optimal results.
yes you can microneedle with facial hair but your results will not be as good, its best to trim and pre and post treatment with peels/skincare (see link to emeragecosmetics at home AERIFY and dermarolling weekly). Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. You should be able to proceed with microneedling with facial hair in place. It should not be a big problem as long as it is not too long. Hope this helps!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACS VIVIFY plastic surgery
Hi, thank you for your question! I would recommend shaving 1-2 days prior to your appointment. I would not recommend having anything longer than a stubble on the face. This will allow for optimal results with the treatment.
It is best to shave before microneedling. Sometimes hair can make it difficult for the roller to glide across the skin and even pull the hair, which can be very uncomfortable. Having a smooth surface for the roller to glide across will help give you the best results.

Hi @lilgalfromin. I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices,...
I would discontinue use and let your skin heal for about a week or two before putting on any retinoids or harsher acids. I don't believe you "damaged" your skin per say, you probably just dried it out. We recommend that you don't use any retinols/retinoids or acids a week prior to your...
