2 questions on microneedling

AlinaK.
1) So for pitted scars a depth of 1.5-2.5mm is advisend for a beneficial effect. This whole suggestion is based on the skin cross-section of undamaged skin though. Since athropic scars are exactly missing tissue, wouldnt that mean that less depth is advisable? 2) To increase the chance of breaking up tethered scar fibers with MN wouldnt diagnoal punctures instead of perfectly vertical ones make more sense? (picture) Im very curious to hear some thoughts on my questions. Thanks for your isight!
