I had a surgery 7 months ago and I started noticing on one side a small bump on the tip area. I know is not one year but I would like to know if this is scarring or is something else ? I don’t want again to go through that surgery since I was miserable and I am afraid that it might be more visible and my nose would look deformed.

The uneven height of your alar base is barely noticeable to other people.You should look carefully at your pre-operative photos - you might find that it was uneven before the surgery, and you'd never noticed it, despite how often you had looked at your nose before (and since) the surgery...
