Hi Doctors, I have a question, I am currently doing microneedling procedures and heard that some doctors at the end of the treatment plan inject sculptra to where the stretch marks are at. Is this something new? Is this something that can probably help on top of microneedling? I'm thinking about asking my dermatologist about it.

Answer: Treating stretch marks Fractionated lasers, pulse dye laser, fractionated RF, PRP, and topical tretinoin are the good options for stretch marks. I don't use Sculptra for stretch marks at this time.

Answer: Can you use Sculptra on stretch marks? The use of Sculptra in "stretch marks" is very unpredictable to results and amounts needed. I might recommend a test area of about 5 cm using 1-2 vials oe 10-20 mixed cc's. If after 6 weeks seeing no improvements than it is not gong to be effective for your stretch mark issues. Expect fee for test area in the $1,200 ranges.
